We at RCD are looking for a Software Developer to strengthen our team. Do you already have years of experience as a Software Engineer? Do you have knowledge of Progress/ProShield? Then you might be the man or woman we are looking for!

Who are we?

Rapid Cloud Development (RCD) is a web framework for Progress OpenEdge developers that helps companies quickly modernize and deploy business applications without extra developers or complex front-end expertise. Since 2025, RCD is jointly owned by founder Peter Kiss and Belgian IT company Organi, supported by an international team that combines deep development expertise with over 45 years of business software and IT services experience to deliver secure, cloud-ready solutions across Europe.

Who are you?

  • You already have several years of experience as a developer and have experience with Progress/ProShield.
  • You are a team player, but you can also work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • You enjoy a challenge and are not afraid to take initiative.
  • You are service-oriented and like to think along with the customer.
  • You want to help build and continuously improve the framework that supports our clients.

What will your workday as a Software Developer look like?

  • You develop our own products (desktop, web and mobile), built mainly in Progress, but also using other technologies such as .NET, JavaScript and Angular.
  • You are responsible for the further expansion and development of our framework.
  • You help set up communication between various internal and external applications based on XML exchange and REST services.
  • You plan your own schedule: you work at the office, at the customer’s site or from home.
  • You provide both customers and colleagues with up-to-date information via our online portal.
  • You document your knowledge in Confluence, work according to the Agile methodology, follow up on issues via Jira and work with the GIT version control system.
